Here are a few tips to optimize their lifespan and enjoy them safely:
When lighting the candle for the first time, let it burn until an even layer of liquid wax has formed (approx. 4 hours, depending on the scent). This prevents the wax from tunneling and allows the wicks to properly absorb the wax, ensuring an even burn. The wicks may produce a small amount of smoke during the first lighting.
After the first lighting, do not let the candle burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Do not move a burning or still-hot candle.
Keep away from drafts.
Leave at least 10 cm of space between two candles.
Trim the wick before relighting your candle with wick trimmers (ideal length: 3 to 5 mm) to avoid fire hazards.
